CHIPOTLE STRIPLOIN ROAST

ABOUT THE RECIPE

Spice up your holiday roast with our Chipotle Sirloin masterpiece, made from Happyline Angus Beef! Bold, tender, and full of festive flavor—save the recipe now and savor the season!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 kg Angus Striploin Slab

  • 3 tbsp Rock Salt

  • 2 tsp Black Pepper

  • 2 tsp Chipotle Dry Rub (makes 12 teaspoons): - 2 tsp chipotle chili powder - 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika - 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 3/4 tsp ground coriander - 1/2 tsp black pepper

    - 1/2 tsp ground cumin - 1/2 tsp dried oregano - 1/4 tsp salt

PREPARATION

Step 1


In a bowl, mix your salt, pepper and chipotle rub until well combined. Generously massage the rub all over your slab of Striploin.


Step 2


Preheat oven to 450°F. Place meat, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan and roast in the oven for 15 minutes.


Step 3


Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Roast meat until instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of meat registers 130°F for medium rare doneness, about 30 minutes.


Step 4


Remove from the oven and let rest for 30 more minutes before serving.
