OUR STORY
WHERE IT
ALL STARTED
Happyline’s journey began with Larry, the son of a traditional cattle farmer. Growing up on the farm, he witnessed his father's old-fashioned approach to cattle raising. When Larry was just nine, his father sold the farm out of exhaustion, leaving a lasting mark on him. Among his fondest memories is the horse his dad bought him for $350 dollars, when he was 14 years old. It's a cherished horse he still has to this day.
After his father's passing in 2015, Larry embraced his roots and reclaimed his legacy. Starting with 18 cows, he cultivated a grass farm where they could graze freely. By 2019, his thriving farm supported up to 1,800 cattle, including community herds, as Larry mastered the business.
In 2022, Larry took a bold step—he sent the community cows home and focused on his own herd. With his wife’s support, they began butchering and selling meat from their garage. Word spread, and demand grew, prompting them to look for a new location.
EARLY 2024
While searching for a place to relocate due to their son's schooling and looking for new ventures they could embark on in the meat industry, they stumbled upon a closed repair shop and, in a serendipitous moment everything fell into place, and they purchased the land.
MID 2024
Along with their friend and contractor Tony, they renovated the shop into a meat house market. And so, the Happy Line Butchery Market was born—a warm and inviting place where tradition meets innovation, and every cut of meat tells a story of care, community, and quality.

WE RAISE OUR COWS ETHICALLY
At Happy Line, we’re committed to quality, never sacrificing standards for profit. Our beef comes from cattle raised naturally on open grasslands, fed in spacious enclosures during winter, and cared for without unnecessary drugs. While some cattle may receive USDA-approved hormones, we uphold the highest ethical farming practices, raising them slowly and naturally.
Beyond exceptional meats, we offer a warm, welcoming space—a modern Western hub where shopping feels like home.
